Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-04

These Terms govern use of the Sojiwa Studio admin portal (this application — the tool your business uses to plan, draft, review, and publish social media content) by your organization's admins and team members. They are separate from, and do not apply to, the Sojiwa mental-health/journaling consumer app, which has its own terms.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By checking "I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" at login, or by otherwise accessing or using Sojiwa Studio, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the business or team you represent ("you", "your team"). If you do not agree, do not use the service. Each login records your acceptance (account, timestamp, IP address, and browser/user-agent) as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Description of the service

Sojiwa Studio is a business tool that uses AI (via third-party language/image/video models) to draft social media content — captions, images, and short video — for your team's own social media accounts, based on your brand's configuration, campaigns, and past feedback. Drafts are routed to your team for review and approval (through the admin portal and/or your team's connected Telegram group) before anything is published. Every connected platform currently runs in manual mode, where Studio prepares ready-to-post content for a human on your team to publish by hand. We may offer an optional auto-publish mode for a connected account in future; where you enable it, you authorize Studio to publish through that account according to its configured approval and schedule settings. You remain responsible for reviewing those settings and the resulting content.

3. Accounts, roles, and your team's data

Access is granted per admin user, scoped to one or more roles (system administrator, team administrator, or restricted team member) and to the team/product(s) your organization owns in the system. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Your team's brand content, connected platform accounts, and generated posts belong to your team — Studio processes them on your behalf to provide the service and does not use your team's content to train shared models or share it with any other customer.

4. AI-generated content — review is required, no outcome guarantees

AI drafts are a starting point, not a finished, verified product. AI models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate text, images, or video. Sojiwa Studio's workflow is designed around human review before publishing, and it is your team's responsibility to actually review, edit, or reject a draft — rather than approve it automatically — before it goes live under your brand's name. We make no guarantee regarding the accuracy, quality, legality, or performance (reach, engagement, sales, or any other business outcome) of AI-generated or AI-assisted content, whether or not it was reviewed by your team before publishing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Sojiwa Studio to:

  • Generate, approve, or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes a third party's intellectual property or other rights;
  • Violate the terms of service, community standards, or platform policies of any connected platform (e.g. Meta/Facebook's Platform Policy) — you remain solely responsible for your own compliance with each platform you connect;
  • Attempt to access another team's data, credentials, or generated content, or otherwise bypass the system's tenant/role scoping;
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service, or use it to build a competing product; or
  • Upload or process content you do not have the rights to use.

6. Third-party platforms and credentials

Connecting a social platform (e.g. Facebook) or an AI provider (via your team's own OpenRouter API key) requires you to supply credentials/tokens that Sojiwa Studio stores encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and uses only to act on your behalf against that provider's API. You are responsible for the validity and scope of any credential you connect, and for that provider's own terms — Sojiwa Studio is not a party to, and has no control over, Facebook's, OpenRouter's, or any other third-party provider's own terms, pricing, availability, or policy changes, and is not liable for their acts or omissions.

7. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these Terms, non-payment (where applicable to your plan), or to protect the service or other customers. You may stop using the service at any time; contact us to request deletion of your team's account and data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sojiwa and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, including from AI-generated content that was published without adequate review, or from a connected third-party platform's own outage, policy change, or account action.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sojiwa and its operators harmless from claims arising out of your (or your team's) use of the service, content you approved or published through it, or your violation of these Terms or of a connected platform's own policies.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date and version above will change accordingly, and — because acceptance is required on every login — you will be asked to accept the current version the next time you sign in. If you do not agree with an update, stop using the service and contact us.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a separate written agreement between your organization and Sojiwa states otherwise.

12. Contact

Sojiwa Studio is operated by an individual operator in Malaysia. Questions about these Terms: support.studio@sojiwa.com. Website: studio.sojiwa.com.

This document is a general template describing the service as built and is not a substitute for legal advice; your organization should have it reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on it, particularly if you operate outside Malaysia or need terms tailored to a specific customer contract.
